Senior year arrived, and after years of questionable decisions, Devi Vishwakumar and her homies entered their final chapter - so the final season of Never Have I Ever celebrated everything that got them there: first loves, big mistakes, hard lessons, and the very real process of growing up.

At its core, the farewell leaned into the relatable reality of graduating: saying goodbye, and making peace with the fact that you still don’t have everything figured out.

The season didn’t shy away from big milestones or deeply awkward moments (including being a full-on horndog), treating them with the same humor and honesty that defined the show from the start.

It was a celebration of change without pretending it’s graceful, and a reminder that figuring yourself out is just as funny as it is humiliating.

The visual system for the final season built on the illustrated language that had been part of Never Have I Ever since the beginning, evolving it into a full senior-year sendoff. Working closely with the show’s longtime illustrator, the design leaned into yearbook motifs, hand-drawn details, and bold key elements that carried across many touchpoints throughout the campaign.

Design System

The final campaign rolled out through a triptych poster system designed to tell Devi’s story in full. Each panel focused on a different pillar of her world: friendship, love, and family, using the established illustrated elements to connect the pieces into one cohesive narrative. Together, the posters worked as both individual moments and a larger portrait of the journey, celebrating the relationships that shaped Devi’s senior year and carried her to the finish line.

Triptych Art

To bring the final season to life, the fan premiere was inspired by senior year rituals: from photo moments to slowo captures and a larger-than-life yearbook installation; fans were invited to step into the world of the show and see themselves reflected in its final chapter. The experience turned the event into a collective send-off — playful, emotional, and proof that this story belonged as much to the fans as it did to the characters and talent.

Fan Premiere

The final season was honored with a People’s Choice Award (a fan-voted win that felt especially meaningful for a show built on its audience) closing out the project by celebrating that moment.

Being there as both one of the creative leads and a fan, felt like a full-circle ending.
